MARLEN SARMIENTO

As I get closer to graduating, I’ve learned so much about my capabilities, passions, motivations, and desire to learn more. I always wanted to be a jack of all trades, from learning brand identity, photography, front-end, motion, UX/UI, to having the opportunity to explore different software such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects. As for my aspirations and career path, I aim to become a UX/UI Designer working in the industry, understanding the user experience, and making a difference.

I enjoy the design process from the research and planning to wire framing and prototyping. As AI is rapidly developing and becoming more involved in design, I continue to adapt and expand my skills. I’m always willing to face challenges that come my way, either alone or collaborating with others. Nevertheless, I will take any chance to explore and experiment in my other interests in design, such as motion and graphic design, whether as a hobby or integrating into my work, I strive to create and discover. Overall, I am excited for what the future holds as I continue to grow.
